New Ravenswood Mines Archive

This collection is a microcopy of materials held in the microform collection.

This company was registered on 23 March 1899 to adopt an agreement with the Queensland National Bank to acquire four gold mining leases at Ravenswood, formerly belonging to the Ravenswood Gold Co. Ltd. Other properties were subsequently purchased. By the 1900s it had a 30 stamp mill and was returning substantial dividends to investors. It was closely associated with the other gold mining companies, Ravenswood Deep Mines and Donnybrook Blocks Mining Syndicate.

This collection covers the period 1900 - 1918 and includes letterbooks, lists of dividends paid and cyanide assay reports.
