Iashchenko / Tjapukai, 1903, Archive
Russian ethnographer, Alexander Leonidovich Iaschenko (1863-1943) visited Australia in 1903 to study the indigenous people. His three month visit included a trip to Cairns and Yarrabah where he collected and photographed while gathering information.
