Reverend Father Publius Cassar was a Catholic priest in Halifax, North Queensland. He was particularly interested in the history of the local region. He wrote historical papers and collected a quantity of primary and secondary source records, including photographs. This archive consists of correspondence, newspaper clippings, photographs and slides of the crash of US Liberator B-24 aircraft on Hinchinbrook Island in 1942.
